Development Notes

Billminder is written in html/js and uses some really great opens source libraries including db.js for data storage, d3.js for cool visualisations and moment.js for working with dates.

I am planning on releasing a better quality video if time permits.

A very handy app - be even better with column charts in place of the pie charts.
Luke Lowrey Dec 10 '12 at 23:01
Thanks Steve, I wanted the pie charts there so I could use the size of them to show the total bill for that month in relation to other months. I am planning some sort of statistics screen with more indepth charts.

Bills are a lot of pain for everyone. It is really good to see an App which will let us know when to pay our bills.
Aviatrix Nov 18 '12 at 12:47
I like the UI , and was in need for such an app! nicely done.

I love the UI design, very minimalistic. But you should give an option for someone to try it, before they buy it.
Luke Lowrey Nov 14 '12 at 4:26
Cheers, mate I was channelling the iOS app tempus (itunes.apple.com/au/app/event-calendar-tempus/id456838001?mt=8). I have a one day trial option but am considering options to do something a bit more substantial.

Looking good Luke, I especially like the live tile.
Remy Nov 15 '12 at 8:10
Yep, looks really nice! But just from a marketing perspective: I would not add the loading screen as your first screenshot on the App Store page. That is the first thing people see about your app. And might not lead to good conversions. And like Yusak, I would also recommend a trial option. You need a least a month to try something like this out. Win Phone 8 app also in planning?
Luke Lowrey Nov 15 '12 at 22:57
Hey Remy, I've had the screenshot suggested to me a few times now so next update I am making the change. I have done some windows phone dev in the past so if I end up getting my hands on some hardware it could happen. First step would most likely be some sort of cloud sync.
