Network Usage

Network Usage displays the amount of data sent and received by your network interfaces. Usage data is displayed in an easy-to-read bar graph. Drill down into the data by clicking or tapping the graph's bars.

Development Notes

Network Usage was created with JavaScript/HTML.

Version 1.1 added snapped view, auto-refresh and German UI translations.

Version 1.2 is now available! Using HTML web workers, the data process no longer blocks the UI. An issue with the Y-Axis scaling has been corrected. It also adds the ability to set the graph colors, as well as French and Italian UI translations.

Nice Idea. An option to change the Scale of Graph would be great.

Useful and must have app.

The application works fine and detect all networks except ad-hock connections or a connection via tethering. I think there should be some space between the DropDown Box and the IP address .

Looks good. I think a nice feature that can be added (if possible) is the ability to dig down into which application / process it is using the network. That be great.

Unfortunately, the Windows API doesn't provide the data by app or process.

Great utility, this is the one i always look for. I hate unnecessary advertisements. I try it out.

How customizable is this? I always need things like this and it's great to see an app already.

Are you trying to make money with the advertising? Not that this is a bad thing, but sounds like "The Life of Pi" in a Network Monitor is a bit off :-)
Rob Durfee Nov 13 '12 at 21:14
Yeah, it's an MS SDK Ad. Right now, they seem to cycle between Life of Pi, Skyfall and Cadillac. I thought about editing it out of the screenshot, but decided to leave it in there so people would know that it does contain an ad...

Sounds good! When you plan release first beta?
Rob Durfee Nov 12 '12 at 14:41
It just went live on the store today. I'm currently working on the next release, which adds an auto-refresh feature. I'd love to hear any feedback or suggestions.
