This app looked great - but I was surprised that the options to edit it were all separate in app purchases! How do I know if I want to use something if I can't try it out? :o( It would be nice if it let you try out the features a few times, and then have one purchase to unlock full features.

Why is the app icon and splash screen labeled with MQR? I'm not sure what that means, I would be expecting these to match the app name... Does the MQR stand for something?

Hello! Software Developer. MQR is 'MUST QR Code'. A few years ago, we have a web site for QR code design mqr.kr. Logo are trademarks registered by, and has been in use since then. Created by extending Web services "QR Code Designer". "QR Coder Designer" is MQR's Windows 8 Style UI. Thanks!

You should check with the contest sponsors about your videos. I was understanding the rules as 1 video of at least 2 but not more than 3 minutes. Wouldn't want you to disqualify on 5 videos at 13 minutes. I use QR codes on my materials a lot, this app is going to come in handy, my stuff is going to look so nice with this.

Thanks for the advice. I did not know.I changed the video.

This is nicely done! Wondering if you've considered adding the ability to style a previously created code? That would be huge!!

""QR Code Designer" The only application generating custom-designed QR codes" - uh, no it isn't. It isn't even the only one in the competition: apptivate.ms/apps/189/qr-stylist

Yes, there is a bunch of QR code generating apps in the store. Most of them use ZXing library and generate black&white blocky QR code, because nobody would wish to deal with encoding and image generating in WinRT. The app you refer is same to all other apps. So where is style in 'QR Stylist'?
Software Developer Nov 12 '12 at 20:16
Agreed, I think Robert overlooked the 'custom designed' part.

Gave you a bump because you've put a surprising amount of effort into making this into a nice tool, and this contest really should have more visible tools in it.

I completely agree
